Gary Trent Jr. Returns To Action With 25 Points
Gary Trent Jr. ended a six-game absence with a 25-point effort in Thursday's overtime loss to Washington, shooting 8-for-16 from the field and 5-for-10 from downtown. He completed his night with a perfect 4-for-4 effort at the foul line and had three rebounds, one assist and one steal with one turnover in 36 minutes. The Raptors were missing Kyle Lowry (rest) and OG Anunoby (calf) here, which helped Trent Jr. to make a productive return to the lineup. He is averaging 16.5 points on 42.2 percent shooting from the field for the team ahead of Saturday's meeting with Memphis.
