Garrett Smithley starts 34th on Sunday at the California road track. While he has not finished any better than 27th at any race, Smithley might have a better showing at Sonoma. The Rick Ware Racing driver has started in just nine races this season. With the horsepower build and downforce requirements, Smithley has a bit of upside going into the race.
