Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen showed signs of his form from the last two seasons, stopping 28 of 29 shots in a 4-1 victory. Andersen was steady as a rock during a second and early-third period stretch that seen the Leafs demonstrate some shoddy defensive play and carelessness with the puck. The Leafs will need Andersen to perform close to this standard all season to compensate for their defensive issues when coming up against some of the high-powered offenses in the league. After winning back-to-back games to start the season, there's a chance we will see Michael Hutchinson get his first start on Saturday night against the Montreal Canadiens. --Nate Duffett
