Falcons Won't Shut Down Julio Jones, Matt Ryan
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said he's not considering shutting down wide receiver Julio Jones (shoulder) or quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) for the final four games of the season. Jones sat out Thursday night against the Saints. Ryan's ankle is recovered, but he's taken 15 sacks in the last two games. They'll both have extra time to rest up for Week 14 against the Panthers, and both players should be out there for that contest. It's good news for anyone heading to the fantasy playoffs that will be relying on them the rest of the way. Jones will return to being a WR1 if he's active next week.
