Ezequiel Tovar Scratched On Wednesday
Colorado Rockies shortstop Ezequiel Tovar (hip) has been scratched from the starting lineup ahead of Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. It sounds like the Rockies are taking the cautious approach and pulling Tovar out of the lineup due to left hip pain. For now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day, but the Rockies should give another update on his status shortly. In the meantime, Kyle Farmer will cover shortstop and bat cleanup versus right-hander Bobby Miller. The veteran utility man has been one of the few bright spots in this Colorado lineup early in the season.
