Ezekiel Elliott Could Be Used More in the Passing Game
6 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott expects to be used more in the passing game this season. Almost exclusively used as a runner his first two seasons, Elliott averaged just 2.1 catches per game his first year and 2.6 last year. He's reportedly been asked to add some more complex passing routes to his route tree. With the Cowboys almost completely devoid of talent in the receivers room, Elliott could indeed carve out a role as a pass catcher. He'll be the focal point of the Dallas offense regardless and is absolutely worth taking among the first few picks of any draft.
