Washington Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov (upper body) will not be in the lineup on Friday night against the Colorado Avalanche. Kuznetsov suffered the injury back on Wednesday in Winnipeg. The Russian pivot has six goals, 15 assists, and 11 power-play points through 18 games this season. In his absence, Lars Eller will move onto a line with Alex Ovechkin and Tom Wilson.
