Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin will miss the next four games after he was suspended on Monday. The Russian superstar was punished for a cross-check against Nashville's Mark Borowiecki, who left the ice with a bloody face and didn't return to action Sunday in a 2017 Stanley Cup Finals rematch. This is Malkin's second career suspension after he was forced to sit out one game in 2019 for high-sticking. He'll be eligible to return to the lineup on Apr. 23 against Detroit. Malkin has posted 37 points in 37 games this season after sitting out the first half of the campaign following knee surgery. Jeff Carter should take over second-line center duties until Malkin is back.--Taavi Pailk
