Evan Engram Won't Practice Wednesday
3 years agoNew York Giants head coach Joe Judge said that tight end Evan Engram (calf) will not practice on Wednesday. Engram will work with the team's training staff, and the team will revisit on Thursday. The 27-year-old has all the potential in the world, but he continues to be a frustrating fantasy asset because of injuries, poor play and the Giants offensive inconsistency. Engram is a long shot to play in the season-opener this Sunday against the Denver Broncos, so make sure he's not in any starting lineups. Even if Engram recovers later this week and is able to play, he'd be a poor starting option at less than 100 percent and likely on a snap count. With Kyle Rudolph (foot) also likely out, expect Kaden Smith to see more snaps as the leading tight end.
