Evan Carter Starting on Sunday
Evan Carter (writ) is back in the starting nine on Sunday when the Rangers conclude a series against the Chicago White Sox. Carter was removed from Friday's game after suffering a wrist injury. While he was not expected to return this weekend, he was able to progress enough to get the nod in the series finale. Prior to his injury, the former top prospect was beginning to heat up at the plate, posting a stellar .556/.636/1.167 line with two doubles and three long balls over his last five contests. This afternoon, Carter will start in center field and bat in the five-hole. This afternoon, Carter and the Rangers are a strong play in DFS facing Chicago White Sox right-hander Aaron Civale. Civale enters this game holding a high 4.91 ERA.
