Cincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez (thumb) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday. Suarez has been sidelined with a fractured thumb just over two weeks after getting hit by a pitch on the hand. The rising star might need to get a few rehab games under his belt before he's ready to face big league pitching but Suarez should be back available for fantasy teams in the near future. The original timetable for return was set at six weeks, meaning he is well ahead of schedule in his recovery. Suarez was hitting .296 with two homers and seven RBI in eight games before the injury.--Matt T - RotoBaller
