Ervin Santana Allows Three Runs Over Three Innings
Ervin Santana made his second start of the year against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday. He pitched three innings while allowing four hits, one walk and three earned runs. He recorded three strikeouts. Santana worked in a tandem role with Carlos Hernandez, who wasn't much better than Santana, allowing three runs (two earned) over 4 1/3 innings. Santana has been effective in a relief role this year. He's now made nine total appearances on the year and has a 3.26 ERA and 1.09 WHIP.
