Erik van Rooyen has played pretty well on the tour in the early going in 2022. The South African golfer has made six straight cuts. Though he has not finished inside the top 20, van Rooyen has not finished worse than T54. On the other side, he has not truly contended since his win last year at the Barracuda. His 71.318 scoring average ranks just 130th, and his 42% sand-save percentage ranks just 170th. The golfer needs to set up his shots better in order to drain more putts. The Arnold Palmer Invitational may not be such an easy place to find that confidence.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
