4 months agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson registered a trio of assists in his team's 3-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Monday. It was quite the eventful night for Karlsson as he not only contributed on each Sharks goal but also added a power-play point, a plus-one rating, five shots on goal and two blocks in a team-high 27:34 of ice time. After posting just 15 points through his first 26 games in San Jose, the two-time Norris winner has racked up 23 points in 16 games since the beginning of December. In addition, Karlsson is in the midst of a 13-game point streak (one goal, 21 assists) and now sits fifth in NHL scoring at his position. It was only a matter of time until the Swedish native got settled out West and he has quickly re-established himself as a top asset in fantasy hockey.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
