Erik Jones and the Legacy Motor Club have had a season to forget. However, the No. 42 Chevy did come out on top at Darlington last September. He started 15th and roared his way to the win late. Jones also has a win and five other top-ten results on the 1.366-mile track. Questions from the Spring are hard to ignore, however. Jones began the May race 28th and never got going. His 25th place result was almost predictable then. Jones has come from a spot like 20th and ended up contending. Again, last year he led 23 laps when it counted.
