Erik Jones thought last week was bad. The Legacy Motor Club driver proceeded to qualify 31st for Sunday's race at Watkins Glen. Some will point to last year where the No. 43 Chevy ended up 10th after starting 31st. Could that happen again? Anything is possible. The problem with Jones is some of his road results have been far from stellar this year. There was that 32nd at Sonoma, the 23rd at COTA, and then that 35th at Indianapolis last week.
