It appears that Eliot Wolf will be in charge of the New England Patriots' personnel department moving forward, with control of the 53-man roster while working closely with new head coach Jerod Mayo, according to sources. Matt Groh will mostly handle college scouting, with Pat Stewart heavily involved in all aspects. The power structure is shifting dramatically for the first time in 24 years now that former head coach Bill Belichick is no longer around. Wolf is the son of Hall of Fame executive Ron Wolf and came up through the Green Bay Packers' personnel ranks from 2004-2017, at one point elevating to director of player personnel. It appears the Patriots are shifting toward more of a Packer-based structure in the front office, which places greater emphasis on the evaluations of the personnel department than a head coach with final say.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
