8 months agoSeattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas suffered a lower leg fracture on Sunday against the Cardinals, and with his injury ends the era of the Legion of Boom. Thomas will be out for the rest of the season, and he'll almost assuredly be heading somewhere else to play next year after he and the front office have had a major strife this season. Thomas' final gesture in a Seahawks uniform was one that could not be shown on public television, and it should fully cement the fact that he's moving on after the year. Losing Thomas is a huge blow to Seattle's defense, and it remains to be seen whether this might be the catalyst that causes the team to fall off the edge. For now, a last-second field goal helped them beat a terrible Arizona team and get back to 2-2 on the season.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
