Eagles Sticking With Committee Approach In Backfield
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running backs coach Duce Staley said the team will continue to function with a running-back-by-committee approach. "To have the type of backfield we have now, we’re going to share the ball and these guys understand that," Staley said. The team traded for Jordan Howard and drafted Miles Sanders, but they will share touches with Corey Clement in the backfield. It could be a tough situation for fantasy owners. Sanders has the most upside, but don't count Howard out, especially since the coaching staff seems to like Howard more as a pass-catcher, which is something he rarely did in Chicago.
