Drew Lock Seeing First Reps At Practice
5 years agoDenver Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock (thumb) is seeing the first repetitions at practice again on Thursday over Brandon Allen. Lock remains on Injured Reserve, but the Broncos could activate him before this Sunday's game in order for him to make his NFL debut against the Chargers. All signs so far are pointing to Lock starting, but it's not official just yet. Lock has more upside than Allen under center and will give Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant higher ceilings, but fantasy owners also should expect plenty of growing pains as he closes out the year as the starter under center. As raw and inexperienced as he is, Lock will be a shaky QB2 if he gets the nod in his first game.
