D'Onta Foreman 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Potential Late-Round Value To Open 2024
6 months agoCleveland Browns newly signed running back D'Onta Foreman will start the 2024 season in a nice complementary role alongside Jerome Ford, but that role will only last as long as Nick Chubb is out. Chubb had two knee surgeries last fall and is expected to start the season on the PUP list (though this won't be confirmed until late summer), which would leave reps for Foreman. Jerome Ford may capture the majority of snaps but Foreman’s size could yield a goal-line advantage. Last year, Kareem Hunt’s nine touchdowns proved there is plenty of value to be had as Cleveland’s goal-line back. However, Foreman's fantasy value will diminish when Chubb returns, putting his fantasy potential on the clock. But Chubb’s form is no guarantee to return in 2024 either. Foreman is RotoBaller’s No. 64 RB in half-PPR settings and goes around pick 200 in early drafts. Foreman can be a sharp selection for zero-RB drafters, especially those in non-PPR leagues, or teams needing RB depth early in the season.
