Donovan Smith To Start At Left Tackle
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed on Monday that offensive tackle Donovan Smith will head into offseason workouts as the team's starting left tackle. "He's been a left tackle at a high level. He's a good player. He'll be with the left side with the ones. Jawaan Taylor will move over to the right," Reid said. This was the expectation when the Chiefs signed Smith to a one-year, $9 million contract last Wednesday. Smith will have a pretty important job, protecting All-Pro quarterback Patrick Mahomes' blind side in his first year in Kansas City in 2023.
