Dolphins Could Add Another Running Back In The Draft
2 years agoThe Miami Dolphins re-signed three running backs to short-term deals in free agency this offseason, but they are still evaluating the top RB prospects in this year's draft class, according to a source with knowledge of the team's plans. Miami doesn't have a first-round pick and only has four total draft picks this year, so they could address the position in Rounds 2 or 3 with names like Texas' Roschon Johnson, UCLA's Zach Charbonnet or Texas A&M scatback Devon Achane. Johnson and Charbonnet have the potential to eventually become No. 1 RBs in the NFL, which is something the Dolphins still need. As things currently stand, the team's RB depth chart consists of Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson Jr., Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin.
