Delon Wright Forced To Exit With Hamstring Tightness
2 years agoWashington Wizards guard Delon Wright wasn't able to play the full game Tuesday against Detroit, leaving with right hamstring tightness. He logged 16 minutes and had five points on 2-for-4 shooting with two rebounds, three assists, four steals and one block. This was a very productive bench outing for the veteran guard and Wright could've had a special night if he would've been available for the whole game, as Bradley Beal was limited to just 22 minutes with back tightness. Wright has impressed with his defensive play early in the campaign, averaging 2.8 steals and a block per game in just 22.8 minutes of action. It sounds like he escaped serious injury, but his status is currently unknown for Friday's clash with Indiana.
