Dee Gordon, Ryon Healy To Start Baseball Activities
6 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon (wrist) and third baseman Ryon Healy (back) are expected to begin baseball activities on Thursday. Gordon is recovering from a deep bone bruise on his right wrist, while Healy is out with a lower back issue. Both landed on the injured list on May 21 and will be eligible to return on Friday, but they will both need more time. Gordon is the one that needs to remain owned in all leagues. He was hitting .281/.310/.369 with three homers, 16 runs, 19 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 160 at-bats. Healy had seven long balls but was hitting a mere .237 with 24 runs and 26 RBI. With Kyle Seager now back at third base, there's no clear path to regular playing time for him when he returns.
