David Robertson Back To Playing Catch
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher David Robertson (elbow) played catch on Tuesday for the first time since going on the injured list in mid-April with a sore elbow. There remains no timetable for Robertson to return, but he's been a bust for the Phillies and fantasy owners after signing a two-year, $23 million deal in January. The 34-year-old has a 5.40 ERA in just 6 2/3 frames in his first season in Philly and may not get the closing title back upon his return with how well Hector Neris has handled the role ever since.
