Daulton Varsho Exits Early on Saturday
Daulton Varsho (hamstring) was removed early during Saturday's game against the Athletics. Varsho was taken out in the third inning after he appears to have suffered a hamstring injury when running the bases. He finished the game 1-for-1 with a double and a walk. The expectation is that Varsho will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. For now, fantasy managers should consider Varsho as day-to-day until further notice. Myles Straw took over for Varsho in the outfield and figures to see more playing time if he does miss time because of the hamstring issue.
