Darrynton Evans Back From Injured Reserve
4 years agoThe Tennessee Titans activated rookie running back Darrynton Evans (hamstring) from Injured Reserve on Monday and also activated offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson from the suspended list. The NFL's leading rusher resides on the Titans in Derrick Henry, so Evans has seen very little work in his first season in the league. The 22-year-old third-round pick from Appalachian State has seen only five carries for 21 yards in two games played for Tennessee. Evans could be Henry's direct backup for the rest of the season, but the Titans also have Jeremy McNichols that can pitch in in a pinch. While Evans would have immediate fantasy value in redraft leagues if Henry were injured, he's just a dynasty/keeper stash for the time being in 2020.
