Arizona Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper will open the season as the team's starting netminder, with Antti Raanta (lower body) nursing an injury. With the Finn out for most of 2018-19, Kuemper had a breakthrough year, putting together a 27-20-8 record with a 2.33 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. The Saskatoon-born goalie has just signed a new two-year deal with the club with an average annual salary of $4.5 million. He's in a decent spot to make a winning start to the year, with Arizona visiting the toothless Ducks, who scored a league-low 2.39 goals per game last season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
