5/25:Kansas City Royals ace Danny Duffy finally put it together again on Thursday as he tossed 7 2/3 innings of one-run ball against the Rangers. Duffy has struggled mightily this season, and as recently as last week, there were rumors that he might be headed to the disabled list or bullpen to get his head right. He quickly put those rumors to bed by only allowing four hits on Thursday. Duffy is still anything but dependable, and while he did get more horizontal movement on both his fastball and slider than any other outing this season, he was also facing a Rangers lineup that is one of the worst in baseball. Owners should smile at the good outing, but they should also be careful about attaching too much to it just yet.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
