Daniel Kilgore Cleared For Super Bowl LV
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs center Daniel Kilgore has been cleared to play in Super Bowl LV against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, according to a source. Kilgore spent the week on the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list because of a high-risk close contact with the team's barber. He tested negative all week and is now good to go for the big game. Wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, who was also a high-risk close contact, was cleared on Friday. While Kilgore has been more of a backup offensive lineman for the Chiefs, his availability is great news for a Kansas City offensive line that will be without left tackle Eric Fisher (Achilles) against Tampa. Still, the Chiefs beat up O-line will be tested against a strong Buccaneers defensive front led by pass-rushers Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaquil Barrett.
