Dalton Kincaid 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Has The Potential To Make An Immediate Impact
2 years agoEvery year there is one rookie tight end that dominates the fantasy discussion. Although only some years have a generational talent such as Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, Buffalo Bills rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid falls right in line with stellar former first-round prospects such as Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson. His nickname, "Baby Kelce," says much about how people view his pass-catching ability. His great hands and ability to win 50-50 balls are perfect for fantasy purposes. The discussion was that the Bills wanted to find a slot wide receiver to complement Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. Ultimately, they filled this role with an elite pass-catching tight end. For redraft purposes, the track record of rookie TEs failing to produce and Dawson Knox still being present should leave Kincaid off your draft boards. However, in dynasty formats, Kincaid is paired with one of the best QBs in the league and has a great development path. This should make him a late first-round selection in rookie drafts for those that can afford to wait a year or two for him to develop into an every-down tight end.
