Dallas Goedert 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Again a Solid Late-Round TE Option
Earlier this offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles and veteran TE Dallas Goedert seemed likely to part ways. But a renegotiated contract will keep Goedert in Philly through the 2025 season. Fantasy managers can expect a similar production level from him compared to previous years. He caught 42 passes for 496 yards and two touchdowns over 10 games for the Eagles last season. While Goedert is the third option in the Eagles' passing game behind receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, he makes the most of his targets - his 80.8% catch rate in 2024 was the highest of his career. He also has a knack for occasional big plays, showing off his strength and run-after-catch ability. His 11.8 yards per catch in 2024 ranked sixth among all tight ends. One concern for the 30-year-old is health - Goedert has missed multiple games in each of the last three seasons and played just 10 games in 2024. The veteran missed time last year due to hamstring and knee injuries. However, when he did play, he averaged 10.4 fantasy points per game, a figure that ranked 10th for TEs.
