2 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (thumb) is expected to work off to the side at practice on Wednesday as he continues his recovery from a right thumb fracture, according to a source. Prescott will continue to be present, but he's not at a point of being involved in practice in a substantial way. It's highly unlikely that the 29-year-old signal-caller will return in Week 5 against the Los Angeles Rams, but barring any setbacks this week, he has a realistic shot to return in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Owner Jerry Jones said earlier this week that Prescott isn't at the point where he can grip the football yet to be able to play in a game. It will be Cooper Rush looking to go 4-0 in Prescott's absence this Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
