Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Curtis McElhinney let in four goals on 23 shots in Saturday's seesaw battle against the Minnesota Wild, but the offense bailed him out in the 5-4 overtime road win. McElhinney has fired out of the box with three victories in three starts, allowing a total of eight goals on 80 shots for a save percentage of exactly .900. He hasn't been standing on his hand, but he hasn't had to be perfect with outstanding offensive support. McElhinney is worthy of at least No. 3 netminder status in fantasy leagues of 10 or more teams. It's likely he'll rest Sunday in Winnipeg, with Petr Mrazek giving him a breather, although there hasn't been official word from the club just yet.--Daniel Dobish
