Cubs Place Jake Marisnick On 10-Day Injured List
Jake Marisnick (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 10 with a right hamstring strain. The outfielder suffered the injury on Sunday and was pulled in the bottom of the first inning. Marisnick has been the Cubs fourth outfielder, but he has gotten a decent amount of playing time. Marisnick is hitting .264 with four home runs, 14 RBI and two stolen bases on the season. Limited opportunities decrease his value outside of DFS and he should remain on the waiver wire when he returns. Relief pitcher Brad Wieck has been recalled to replaced Marisnick on the roster.
