Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Cristopher Sanchez was pulled from his start after just two innings and 58 pitches due to left forearm soreness. He will be evaluated further before any more updates are given, but this isn't good news for the breakout lefty. The injury was already starting to show itself early in the start, as his velocity was noticeably down a tick to start the game. It looked like he was taking the next step into ace territory in 2025, posting a 2.96 ERA with 31 strikeouts and six walks through his first four starts of the season. Hopefully this injury isn't the worst-case scenario, but more information should be available within the coming days.--Jeremy Heist
