4 years agoAlthough the Dallas Cowboys made some inquiries on free-agent Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas after he was released by the Ravens on Sunday, they are not expected to be among the teams vying for his services, sources say. Many assumed the Cowboys would be a favorite for Thomas since he's from Texas and played his college ball there. But Dallas is comfortable with their defensive roster at this point and won't be going after Thomas. You can't completely rule out the Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones, but there will surely be at least a handful of teams interested in taking on the 31-year-old.
