Courtland Sutton Leads Broncos In Receiving Sunday
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton led the team with 47 receiving yards in the Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, but he caught only three of his eight targets. Denver's whole offense stopped dead in its tracks when quarterback Drew Lock relieved the concussed Teddy Bridgewater in the second half, and Lock and Sutton were out of sync anytime they tried to connect. Lock's touchdown at the end of the game in the end zone was intended for Sutton. The 25-year-old should remain the team's top target with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) likely out at least another few weeks, but he'll certainly be less attractive to fantasy managers as a potential WR2 if Lock is forced to make the start in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
