Corey Seager Readies For Opening Day As Starter
Corey Seager was recently named the starting shortstop, and he has picked up the pace in the latter part of spring training in terms of workload. He started Sunday's Freeway Series exhibition game, posting six assists without an error. Seager was slowed in the early part of spring training as a precaution, making his way back from reconstructive elbow and hip surgeries. However, barring any setbacks, it's expected he'll bounce back with a .300 average, 25-30 homers and 70-80 RBI while flirting with triple digits in runs scored.
