Corbin Carroll Has Two Hits, Two Steals Friday
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll proved on Friday in a 7-3 win over the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates that he's healthy after another injury scare with his shoulder on Thursday. Carroll managed to go 2-for-5 with an RBI, two stolen bases and two runs scored. This should further ease any fantasy managers' concerns they may have had about Carroll heading into the final weekend series of the first half of the season. The 22-year-old also missed three games last weekend with the same shoulder injury. It's worth keeping an eye on heading into the second half, as it's the same shoulder that he had surgery on two years ago. Otherwise, though, Carroll has been electric in his second MLB season, slashing .291/.366/.556 with a .922 OPS, 18 homers, 20 doubles, three triples, 47 RBI, 26 steals and 63 runs scored in 340 plate appearances.
