Connor Norby Homers in Three-Hit Game on Saturday
Connor Norby went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Angels. The home run was his third of the year and the 24-year-old has picked it up at the plate recently, now riding a seven-game hit streak after Saturday's performance, and has hit safely in 15 of his last 16 games. Over that 16-game stretch, he's hitting .344 with a .926 OPS, and for the season, the former second-round draft pick owns a .288-3-13-17-4 stat line with a .342 wOBA and a 115 wRC+, with the counting stats looking a little light as a result of missed time due to an oblique injury earlier this year. If he can keep it up, the right-handed hitter should be a solid multi-category contributor the rest of the way, is eligible at both 2B and 3B on Yahoo!, and is just 13 percent rostered.
