Philadelphia Flyers forwards Claude Giroux and James van Riemsdyk both scored for the first time this season in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks. Oskar Lindblom and Kevin Hayes also found the net for the Flyers. Giroux now sits on five points for the year, while van Riemsdyk hadn't managed to record any points in his first seven outings. The team has struggled at the start of the season, especially offensively, but they now have two nice wins on the board, scoring a total of 10 goals, which should build some confidence. Playing against a shaky Columbus defense next might be another good opportunity to add some more momentum.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
