Tampa Bay Rays infielder Christian Arroyo worked out on the field at Tropicana Field prior to Wednesday's game. Arroyo completed range-of-motion and core-stabilization exercises in his workout. There does not appear to be a fixed timetable for Arroyo's return and with the current logjam in the Rays infield, it is unlikely they will rush his return. Arroyo has a .264 batting average with one home run in 59 plate appearances. Arroyo's value is fairly limited, as there is no certainty of playing time for him once he is ready to return to the majors.--Ben Rolfe
