Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones did not suit up for Thursday's regular season opener against the Detroit Lions. It appears the 29-year-old is willing to sit out until Week 8, assuming the two sides aren't able to reach a contract extension. Jones was seen sitting in a box at Arrowhead Stadium during Thursday's opener. Clearly, the four-time Pro Bowl tackle is serious about sitting out until he gets a new deal. It's hard to imagine this problem being resolved before Week 2. That being said, the Chiefs defense is going to take a hit until Jones returns to the field.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
