Chris Godwin, Russell Gage Ready To Play Against Falcons
Chris Godwin (knee) and Russell Gage (hamstring) were both taken off the final injury report on Friday and will suit up in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons. Godwin tweaked his hamstring in the season opener and finally returned in the Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, catching seven of his 10 targets for 59 yards while playing a season-high 83 percent of the offensive snaps. In a good matchup against the Falcons defense, the 26-year-old should be considered a WR2 as one of quarterback Tom Brady's favorite targets. Gage was questionable for the first four games of the season, but he hasn't missed a game and could be the No. 3 receiver for Tampa on Sunday if Julio Jones (knee) is unable to go.
