This was just something one did not expect from the Chase Elliott car but it happened. The No. 9 car was indeed disqualified Sunday evening for having five loose lug nuts on one tire. That's right. All five lug nuts were not on properly. Elliott even lost the points from the Stage 1 win and everything. The result for the Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver was 39th. Yes, a disqualification hurt in many ways as Elliott had a golden opportunity to move up in points as well.
