Chase Daniel Plays It Safe In Preseason Opener
5 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Chase Daniel completed 11-for-13 passes for 120 yards in the Bears preseason loss to the Panthers. The veteran mostly played it safe, mostly settling for short-yardage passes and protecting the football. Daniel was forced into action last season for two games and performed well in one game while struggling in the next. Daniel has proven that he understands the concepts of coach Matt Nagy's offensive system. The only way that Daniel pops up on the fantasy radar will be due to injury at the quarterback position.
