The Charlotte Hornets have traded a future first-round pick to the New York Knicks. In return, the Hornets netted the 19th pick in this year's NBA Draft, which the team used on Texas center Kai Jones. Jones is an incredibly athletic big, though he wasn't super productive for the Longhorns last season, averaging 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest. Still, he's able to score all over the floor and shot 38.2 percent from deep last season. Jones has some of the highest upside of any non-lottery pick, but he has to improve his defense and his feel for the game if he wants to contribute early for the Hornets. Expect Jones to spend some time in the G League as a rookie, though he's got such a high motor that he might end up playing his way into the NBA rotation.--Justin Carter - RotoBallerRead More News
