Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Chad Patrick has made the team's Opening Day roster. Patrick was optioned to Triple-A earlier in March, but with pitchers DL Hall and Tobias Myers dealing with injuries and Brandon Woodruff not quite ready, Milwaukee found itself in need of pitching help. The righty showed enough command and strikeout potential this spring to earn a spot on the roster. Despite allowing five earned runs on 13 hits over eight-and-one-third innings of work, the former fourth-round pick walked just one batter and struck out 10. Whether he makes a start early on or comes on in relief, whenever he takes the mound it will be his MLB debut. The 6-foot-1 hurler pitched well at Triple-A last season, recording a 2.90 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and a 19.1 percent K-BB% over 136 1/3 IP, but he may be more of a DFS play if he earns a spot start rather than a waiver add.--Jarod Rupp
